Memorial To George Carlin

Sunday, George Carlin passed away of heart failure at the age of 71. Love him for his irreverent humor and unique view of the world or hate him for it, you cannot deny his impact on the comedy world. In remembrance, we're posting several of his quotes below.

I guess now I have to introduce myself...

My name is Daniel and I'm also a Web Producer/Assistant Producer at KRBC/KTAB News. I'm from Southlake, Texas (no I didn't go to Carroll High School). I came to Abilene for school at ACU and ended up working in the news business after I graduated. I love my job and everything I do. Also, you can sometimes find me at one of the Gamestops, I work there part time too. Like Aaron, I too love entertainment and I can be picky about what I do or see. I love music and movies so much. I also make short films and music videos in my spare time and play in an acoustic band.

This blog really is our chance to show you a bit of ourselves, so you can know who are reviewing your movies, music, games, tv, etc...

I will be out of town for a tiny bit as I am going overseas on a mission trip. I will blog about my experiences just to let you know whats going on.

My name is Aaron and I'm a web producer/assistant producer for KTAB/KRBC News. Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, I came to Abilene for school and liked it so much I decided I'd stick around. I was recently married to my best friend Laura, but she's indulgent enough to let me out to see movies for this page. I enjoy entertainment of all kinds, but can be picky when it comes to what I enjoy.

This little blog is our chance add a personal touch to the entertainment page. You'll hear our thoughts on entertainment news as well as anything else that may find it's way in here. Danny's the chattier one, so I'll let him take it from here. I'm out.
